June 1, 2008

Dear Prospective Bidders,

This letter serves to update you on the new Call for Bids for the DigitalEdge program, as well as to inform you of some ESD 112 administrative changes that have occurred in the last few months.

Many of you have been contacting Jon Nelson, ESD 112 Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Services & Technology with any questions relating to the DigitalEdge program. On May 30, 2008, Jon officially retired. You may also know that we are in the process of hiring a new bid manager to manage the DigitalEdge program. In the interim, I will serve as Bid Administrator.

Any questions should be sent to digitaledge@esd112.org.

The questions are read as they come in. Answers are posted on this website at:
Vendor Questions and Answers

Vendors are encouraged to review the page for updated information as this will be the source of communicating with vendors.

The timeline for the 2008 Bid follows:

ESD 112 will contract with a third party to score, evaluate, and select the qualified bidders. The current contract will be extended to August 15 or sooner if new bids are awarded. Look for the Call for Bids on June 14, 2008

Thank you,

Tim Merlino,
Chief Financial Officer,
